Since you do not need to bring anything, beginners can also experience kimono dressing with ease and comfort.

Customers staying in Yugawara Onsen can also return their kimonos the next day at no extra charge. You can also enjoy the night of a fireworks display or summer festival without worrying about the time. Even if there is no event, please enjoy Yugawara's unique summer evenings to the fullest.

Yassa Matsuri (Aug. 2-3)

One of the largest summer festivals in Yugawara, where geiko dance with the night breeze, surrounded by the call of “Yassa, mossa” and their glamorous dancing. Come in yukata (summer kimono) and enjoy a summer night in which the whole town is united in excitement.

Yugawara Onsen Fireworks Festival (Aug. 3)

A popular fireworks display with approximately 2,200 shots starting at 20:20. With the ocean as a backdrop, the starmine and lights reflected on the water are fantastic. It is also great to see them for free.

Yugawara Onsen Night (8/5~20)

Street performances, Japanese drums, hula dancers, and other daily performances make this an exciting event! This is a popular summer event for families. Please stop by during your summer vacation stay.
