Takashima Chijimi is a cool material woven with tightly twisted cotton yarn, so its main feature is that it is smooth and light to wear, and does not stick to the skin. The texture of the weave is cool and has expression and variety. In early summer, you can enjoy a more beautiful look by combining it with a thin haori. It is a casual kimono for relaxing in comfort. In midsummer, you can wear it as a yukata.

Tailoring guidelines
At our shop, we want you to feel as comfortable as possible and our Japanese dressmakers hand-sew our kimonos to fit your body shape.
*Depending on the fabric, only the back and side parts will be sewn by machine.
*The wide cotton fabric means that even larger people can wear it without having to add seams (additional fabric).
