Bingo cotton paper cloth "Yarn-dyed plain/chigusanezu" Single layer sewing
"Bingo Cotton Washi" is as gentle as possible. A soothing fabric born from a commitment to detail.
This is a fabric made from the traditional fabric "Bingo cotton" woven with "twisted Japanese paper threads", truly a natural product.
Bingo cotton (Hiroshima cotton) is not starched, which is usually done to maintain the strength of the threads on a loom, because starching makes the fabric feel slightly stiffer.
However, because no coating glue is used, the threads become weaker and are more likely to break during weaving. The reason we take this risk is because we want the wearer to experience the feel of real natural fabric. Our desire and commitment to creating the ultimate natural fabric results in a fabric that is gentle on the skin.
Made by Nakamura Brocade Factory
The outstanding techniques and designs that have been used to weave the fine art fabrics "brocade and satin" continue to live on in cotton fabrics.
The concept is to develop products that incorporate textiles that are more familiar in modern life.
While preserving traditional techniques, the brand is also committed to and challenges itself with creating "coolness in everyday life" that also blends with current fashion, and this is expressed not only in the quality of the dyeing and weaving, but also in the design.
