Furuwata Tozan Cotton (Stripes) *Customizable/Kimono, Haori, Men's Hakama
The most distinctive feature of Furuwata Tozan is the smooth texture and elegant luster of the fine thread (80-ply). This fine cotton fabric, imported from Southeast Asia in the mid-Edo period, is also very popular in Japan, and the "chic" cotton fabric that was favored by the wealthy men of Edo still conveys an unchanging charm even today, transcending the ages. Please enjoy the tasteful texture and design of "Furuwata Tozan Cotton," which can be said to be the roots of cotton fabrics.
Karasan cotton is supple, but the threads are tightly woven, so the cotton does not wear out easily, and even when made into hakama, it looks so good you would never think it was an everyday hakama. Needless to say, it is very comfortable to wear.
