If you have sweated in your yukata and want to wash it, place the folded yukata in water with detergent for delicates dissolved in it for 15 to 30 minutes until the dirt floats to the surface. Gently press it to wash and lightly spin dry. When hanging it to dry, it is best to hang it on a kimono hanger or something that will keep your shoulders straight. Smooth out any wrinkles, hang it in a well-ventilated, shady place, and iron any wrinkles that bother you. |
